Friction adjustment - rubber nub
Share
I have been contacted by a few customers that have noted that the friction in the clip magnetic joint is slightly different between the clips in their omnifixo kits.
I don't know how common this issue is but to be sure you have the best possible experience I want to highlight a solution to this.
In the center hole of the magnet there is a small black TPU/rubber nub. The idea and purpose of this rubber nub is to create just a little bit of extra friction to the joint.
Now it seems like some magnetic feets have this "rubber nub" inserted a bit too far.
Luckily this is easy to adjust, just gently push a non sharp, non magnetic pin (like a matchstick) from the underside of the center hole of the magnet feet, towards the ball until the friction in the joint feels "right".
